Description
Pharmacological action of
Stop-itch suspension is a combination anti-inflammatory drug.
Triamcinolone, which is part of the preparation, is a synthetic glucocorticoid and has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and desensitizing effect. The mechanism of its action is to block the release of inflammatory mediators by eosinophils, including prostaglandins, which potentiate the inflammatory process, stimulate the biosynthesis of lipocartins with anti-edema activity, reduce the number of mast cells that produce hyaluronic acid, and decrease the permeability of capillaries. B vitamins (PP, B6, B2), succinic acid and methionine improve metabolism, accelerate tissue regeneration, and help restore the functional state of the skin. Stop-itch suspension according to the degree of exposure to the body refers to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
