Use during pregnancy and lactation

Adequate and strictly controlled studies of the safety of the drug during pregnancy have not been conducted. The question of the advisability of using the drug during pregnancy (especially in the first trimester) and during lactation (breastfeeding) is decided individually by the doctor.

Composition

1 coated tablet contains: core composition: active ingredients: valerian dry extract – 50,000 mg dry lemon balm extract – 25,000 mg dry peppermint extract – 25,000 mg excipients: talc, magnesium stearate, crospovidone, corn starch, corn silica, colloidal dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose shell composition: hydroxypropyl cellulose (Hypromellose, Pharmacoat), talc, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, povidone, sucrose, colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, brown dye 75, glycerin, E Hoechst wax (Capol 600).

Dosage and administration

Inside, with water, regardless of food intake.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: with increased nervous irritability, irritability – 2-3 coated tablets, 2-3 times a day

with insomnia – 2-3 coated tablets, 30 minutes – 1 hour before bedtime.

The maximum daily dose is 12 tablets per day. With the cessation of treatment, withdrawal does not occur. Do not use the drug continuously for more than 1.5-2 months.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible (hyperemia, skin rash, peripheral edema, allergic dermatitis), bronchospasm, with prolonged use – constipation.

Drug Interaction

The drug enhances the action of sleeping pills and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, antihypertensive drugs (in particular, central action), painkillers, which requires dose adjustments.

Overdose

Single intake of 20 g of rhizomes with valerian roots (ca. 103 Parsen ® tablets) can cause fatigue, cramps in the stomach, a feeling of tightness in the chest, dizziness, trembling of hands, hours extension. In the event of overdose, it is advisable to carry out gastric lavage and see a doctor.
