PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Sterilized isotonic sea water helps to maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa. The drug helps to thin the mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa. The trace elements that make up the drug improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have anti-inflammatory, cleansing, stimulating, restorative effect on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity. In allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, the drug helps to flush and remove allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, and reduce the local inflammatory process. Aqua Maris ®, used for hygienic purposes, helps cleanse the mucosa from street and room dust that has settled on it.
Indications
acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx
adenoids
postoperative period (after operations on the nasal cavity)
allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially in persons predisposed to drug-addicted in pregnant women and during lactation)
prophylaxis and treatment as part of the complex treatment of infections of the nasal cavity in the autumn-winter period (including pregnant women and l actions) dryness of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity
preservation of the physiological characteristics of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity in altered microclimatic conditions – in individuals living and working in air-conditioned rooms and / or central heating

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug. Children’s age up to 1 year (for dosed nasal spray).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Pregnancy and lactation are not contraindications.
Special instructions
Newborns should be instilled into the nasal cavity with caution, with minimal pressure on the vial (due to the risk of infection of the middle ear).

Composition
