Doxifin Tabs is the newest veterinary drug developed on the basis of doxycycline. Doxifin Tabs tablets are used to kill intracellular organisms (bacteria) in domestic animals. The drug belongs to the group of tetracyclines and is used to destroy doxycycline-sensitive pathogens.
Contraindications
It is forbidden to use for the treatment of animals allergic to doxycycline.
It is also not recommended to give the drug to lactating or pregnant females, puppies and kittens younger than one month old (30 days).
Dosage and administration
The medicine is available in tablet form and is given to the animals inside. You can give the drug directly from the hands. You do not need to mix with food. The amount of the drug required for treatment, as well as the duration of the course, is determined by the attending veterinarian on the basis of the instructions and taking into account the weight and condition of the four-legged patient. The calculation of the therapeutic dose of the drug is carried out according to the scheme: 10 milligrams of doxycycline per kg of animal weight.
When using Doxifin Tabs, there is no need to limit the animal in food (starvation diet), or to change the diet in any way.
Side effects
When using the drug, side effects were recorded: photosensitivity, narrowing of the esophagus, hypersensitivity, vomiting, fever, depression. The appearance of these symptoms is not a cause for concern if they disappear immediately after stopping the use of the drug.
Storage conditions
It is recommended to store the medicine in a place inaccessible to animals and small children, in a shaded, cool place, in the packaging of the plant, at a temperature of 15-30 degrees.
