Description
Description srdlcp calcium Calc.
Calcemin Advance (1) is a preparation with a strengthened formula (2), which contains vitamin D3 and minerals for the prevention of bone fragility and the complex treatment of osteoporosis.
With age, calcium is washed out of the bones and they become brittle.
Unlike other calcium preparations (3), Calcemin Advance contains special minerals (magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper, boron) to form a collagen network that holds calcium in bone tissue, preventing its leaching (4).
Calcemin Advance applies:
– for the prevention and comprehensive treatment of osteoporosis
– to improve the healing of
fractures – to compensate for the deficiency of calcium and trace elements.
Calcemin Advance – Keep Your Bones Strong!

Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation, hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, allergic reactions (pruritus, rash, urticaria).
Drug Interaction
Co-administration of Calczemin with Vitamin A reduces vitamin D3 toxicity. Phenytoin, barbiturates, ACS reduce the effectiveness of vitamin D3.
Laxatives reduce the absorption of vitamin D3.
GKS, hormonal contraceptives for systemic use, levothyroxine worsen the absorption of calcium ions.
At simultaneous use of tetracyclines the interval between receptions should be not less than 3 h, bisphosphonates and sodium fluoride (their absorption is broken) – not less than 2 h.
When combined with the preparation Calzemin with cardiac glycosides, their toxicity is increased. , with thiazide diuretics – increases the risk of hypercalcemia, with furosemide and other loop diuretics – increases the excretion of calcium by the kidneys.

With prolonged use in doses over 2500 mg calcium – kidney damage, soft tissue calcification.
In case of detection of the first signs of overdose it is necessary to reduce the dose or stop the use of the drug, see a doctor. In the case of hypercalciuria exceeding 7.5 mmol / day (300 mg / day), it is necessary to reduce the dose or discontinue the drug.
Treatment: rehydration, use of loop diuretics (eg furosemide), glucocorticosteroids, calcitonin, bisphosphonates, in severe cases, hemodialysis. In case of accidental overdose, it is necessary to induce vomiting, to wash the stomach. Therapy is symptomatic. It is necessary to reduce the dose or discontinue the drug.
