Indications
constipation, intestinal dysbiosis
need to regulate stool for medical purposes (bowel cleansing in preparation for endoscopic and radiological examinations, surgical interventions on the rectum, anal sphincter and surrounding area)
hepatic encephalopathy, and hepatic encephalopathy, hyperammonemia.
Contraindications
individual intolerance lactitol
galactosemia
intestinal obstruction
suspected organic damage to the gastrointestinal tract
abdominal pain
rectal bleeding of unknown origin.
Special instructions
Lactitol has a low calorie content (2 kcal / g), does not affect blood glucose and can be used in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Increased fluid intake is desirable throughout the course of the drug.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms.
The use of the drug ExportalВ® does not affect the psychomotor functions associated with driving a car or operating machines and mechanisms.

Side effects
At the beginning of treatment, there may be a feeling of discomfort in the abdomen, flatulence. These phenomena, as a rule, disappear with continued use of the drug, as they adapt to it.
In the case of the use of high doses for a long time in the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy in a patient, due to diarrhea, electrolyte imbalance may develop.
Drug Interactions
While taking Exportal® with enteric-soluble pH-dependent release preparations, it should be noted that lactitol lowers the pH in the intestines.
It is not recommended to use Exportal® within 2 hours after taking other drugs.
Overdose
Symptoms: diarrhea in rare cases – vomiting.
Treatment: Dose reduction.
