Indications
Eczema dermatitis (allergic and simple), atopic dermatitis, diffuse neurodermatitis, erythroderma pruritus psoriasis, lichen planus, anogenital pruritus, insect bites, photodermatoses.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, post-vaccination period, bacterial, viral and fungal skin diseases (pyoderma, mycosis), skin tuberculosis, violation of the integrity of the skin (ulcers, wounds), syphilitic skin lesions, skin tumors, children (up to 2 years, itching in the anus – up to 12 years). Rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis. Caution. Pregnancy (I trimester), diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis (systemic lesion), lactation.
Special instructions
Avoid contact with ointment in the eyes. For children under 12 years of age, the drug is prescribed only under strict medical supervision. If, after 7 days of use, there is no improvement or deterioration is observed, as well as in the case of the resumption of symptoms a few days after withdrawal, the use of the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor. Do not use the drug without consulting a doctor in cases when itching in the genital area of ² ¹ ² ¹women is accompanied by vaginal discharge. With prolonged treatment and / or application to large surfaces, it is recommended to prescribe a diet with a restriction of Na + and a high content of K + to introduce a sufficient amount of protein into the body. It is necessary to control blood pressure, the concentration of glucose and cortisol in the blood, blood coagulation, diuresis, body weight of the patient.
Composition
1 g contains hydrocortisone 17-butyrate 1 mg,
excipients: white soft paraffin – 35 mg, solid paraffin – 50 mg, cetomacrogol 25 – 20 mg, cetostearyl alcohol – 20 mg, borage oil – 17.5 mg, propylene glycol – 50 mg, butylhydroxytoluene – 0.2 mg, propyl parahydroxybenzoate – 3 mg, butyl parahydroxybenzoate – 1.5 mg, citric acid – 6 mg, sodium citrate – 5 mg, purified water – 790.8 mg.
Dosage and administration
Lokoid Crelo is applied topically. The affected surface of the skin is lubricated with a thin layer no more than 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 1-3 weeks. The dose of the drug used within 1 week should not exceed 30-60 g. In case of itching in the anus, before applying the drug, wash the affected area with warm water and soap, then with water and dry the surface of the skin with a towel or napkin. For weeping skin diseases, lesions of the scalp, lotion and emulsion for external use are used.
Side effects
Local reactions: skin irritation in rare cases – other local reactions characteristic of corticosteroids therapy.
Systemic reactions: with prolonged use, application to large surfaces and / or use of occlusive dressings, side effects characteristic of systemic corticosteroids can be observed. The risk of local and systemic side effects when using Lokoid Krelo ® is lower than when using fluorinated steroids.
Overdose
There is no evidence of an overdose of Lokoid Crelo ®. With prolonged use of the drug in high doses, it is possible to enhance the side effects described above. When symptoms of hypercorticism appear, the drug should be discontinued.
