Pharmacological action
Relzer – antacid, carminative.
Pharmacodynamics
Neutralizes free hydrochloric acid in the stomach, which leads to a decrease in the digestive activity of gastric juice.
Does not cause secondary hypersecretion of gastric juice.
It has an absorbent and enveloping effect, reduces the effect of damaging factors on the gastric mucosa.
Accelerates the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Reduces gassing in the intestines.
Indications
– peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase
– acute gastritis, chronic gastritis with increased and normal secretory function in the exacerbation phase duodenitis
– hiatal hernia reflux esophagitis
– discomfort and pain in the epigastrium with errors in diet, after taking medication, drinking coffee, nicotine, alcohol.

Dosage and administration
The tablet should be chewed and washed down with water.
Adults and children over 15 years of age are prescribed 1 or 2 tablets 3-4 times a day daily after meals or as needed.
Children 10 to 15 years of age are prescribed half the recommended adult dose.

Side effects

Drug Interaction

Overdose
Symptoms: kidney stones, constipation, drowsiness, hypermagnesemia are possible with prolonged administration of high doses. There may also be signs of metabolic alkalosis: mood swings, numbness or muscle pain, nervousness and rapid fatigue, unpleasant taste sensations.
