Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amyl methacresol 0.6 mg
excipients: lozenges: tartaric acid 26 mg, levomenthol (natural) 4.49 mg, peppermint oil 0.48 mg oil, ordinary seed anise oil 2.3 mg, crimson dye [Ponceau 4R] (Edikol CI 16255, E124) 0.32 mg, dye azorubine (Edikol CI 14720, E122) 0.05 mg, sugar syrup [sucrose, water], liquid dextrose [dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides] to obtain a tablet weighing 2.6 g.
Lozenges [honey-lemon]: tartaric acid 26 mg, honey 125.6 mg, peppermint leaves oil 0.62 mg, lemon oil (not containing terpenes) 2.03 mg, dye quinoline yellow (E104) 0.099 mg, sugar syrup [sucrose, water], liquid dextrose [dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides] to obtain 2.6 g tablets.
Dosing and Administration
Adults and children 5 years of age or older are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet of Strepsils every 2-3 hours.
The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.
