Pharmacological action of
The drug causes specific salmonella lysis of the above serotypes.
Indications
– diseases or bacteria carriers caused by Salmonella serotypes indicated above.
An important condition for effective phage therapy is a preliminary determination of phage sensitivity and early use of the drug.
Contraindications
None.
Special instructions
Shake the vial with liquid bacteriophage before use. In case of turbidity do not use!
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms
The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles, mechanisms.

Bacteriophage salmonella groups A, B, C, D, E liquid
Dosage and administration
The drug is intended for internal use. For treatment, a bacteriophage is taken 3 times a day by mouth 1 hour before a meal from the first day of the disease for 7-10 days. In case of a disease characterized by mild colitic syndrome, and during convalescence simultaneously with oral administration, it is recommended to administer the drug rectally, in the form of enemas, instead of 1 ingestion.
Inside, 1 hour before a meal, from the first day of illness for 5-7 days:
– Children under the age of 6 months are recommended a 5 ml liquid preparation at a time or in an enema of 10 ml
– from 6 months to 1 year – 10-15 ml at a time or in an enema of 20 ml
– from 1 year to 3 years – 15-20 ml per dose or in an enema 20-30 ml
– from 3 years to 8 years – 20-30 ml per dose or in an enema 30-40 ml
– from 8 years and older – 30-40 ml at a time or in an enema 50-60 ml.
For preventive purposes, the drug is recommended to be used to prevent bacterial carriage, nosocomial infection, during group diseases in organized groups and families. Optimal patterns of use – daily intake of a single dose depending on age. The duration of the drug is determined by the conditions of the epidemiological situation.

The use of the drug is possible in combination with other drugs, including antibiotics.

Storage in accordance with SP 3.3.2.1248-03 at a temperature of 2 to 8 ° C in a dry, dark place and out of the reach of children.
