Description
Pharmacological action of
The vaccine consists of Trichophyton verrucosum fungal culture cells inactivated by formalin. The vaccine causes the formation of immunity in cattle to trichophytosis 25-30 days after two doses with an interval of 7-14 days. The intensity of post-vaccination immunity lasts at least 36 months (observation period).
The vaccine is harmless, not reactogenic, has prophylactic and therapeutic properties.
Recommendations for use
Inoculating calves for prophylactic and therapeutic purposes is recommended from 14 days of age. In the case of the clinical manifestation of trichophytosis during the immunization of animals in the incubation
period of the disease and exhibiting an accelerated manifestation of clinical signs of mycosis, it is necessary to repeat the vaccine twice in the same doses after 7-14 days. In appearance, the vaccine is an injection liquid in the form of a uniform suspension of a grayish-white color with a brownish tint. The vaccine Wakderm-TF, for more efficient and rational use in practice, is packaged in bottles (ampoules) from one to five hundred preventive doses (1, 2, 4, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 450, 500 ml.).
