Pharmacological action
Plantex ® is a herbal medicine.
Fennel fruits and fennel essential oil stimulate digestion, increasing the secretion of gastric juice and increasing peristalsis. Therefore, food is broken down and absorbed faster. Active substances prevent the accumulation of gases and contribute to their discharge, “soften the spasms” of the intestine.
Indications
Plantex ® is recommended for use in children from 2 weeks of age and older as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent
for the elimination of spastic pain in the intestines with mild digestive disorders
when switching from breastfeeding to other types of nutrition.
Contraindications

Special instructions
Use only warm boiled water or milk to prepare the solution.
For infants, use only freshly prepared solution. Do not add sweeteners.
Composition
1 sachet contains:
Active ingredients: fennel fruit extract dry water 250 mg essential oil of fennel 2.4 mg (content in anethol essential oil – not less than 0.5 mg of fenhon – not less than 0.2 mg)
substances: acacia gum – 12.6 mg anhydrous dextrose – 2500 mg lactose – 2235 mg.
