Pharmacological action
Reaferon EU Lipint – antiviral and immunomodulating drug, is human recombinant interferon alfa-2b, enclosed in liposomes and lyophilized.
Indications
Viral hepatitis B, C, D, viral, viral bacterial and mycoplasma meningoencephalitis, viral conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, keratitis, keratouveitis, kidney cancer stage IV, cellulose cell carcinoma squamous), keratoacanthoma, multiple sclerosis, lymphoblastic leukemia in children, respiratory laryngeal papillomatosis.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated.
Composition of
1 ampoule contains:
Active ingredient: interferon alfa-2a 1 million IU
Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, lecithin or C100 lipoid, cholesterol, tocopherol (vitamin E), lactose.
Side effects
When used according to the indications in recommended doses, the drug does not have side effects. However, given that its active ingredient is recombinant interferon, which causes flu-like side effects upon parenteral administration, caution is required when prescribing the drug to individuals with individual intolerance to interferon preparations.
Drug Interaction
Interferon alfa-2b is able to reduce the activity of cytochrome P450 isoenzymes and, therefore, to influence the metabolism of cimetidine, phenytoin, dipyridamole, theophylline, diazepam, cytoprotein, cytoprol, and diazepam.
The drug can enhance the neurotoxic, myelotoxic or cardiotoxic effects of medicines that were prescribed earlier or at the same time.

The product should be stored in a dark place and out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 8 ° C.
