Pharmacological action
Ketoprofen has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect.
Indications
Joint syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout) symptomatic treatment of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (periarthritis, arthrosinovitis, tendonitis, tendosynovitis, bursitis, neurologic pain, neuralgia pain)
Uncomplicated injuries, in particular sports, dislocations, sprain or rupture of ligaments and tendons, bruises, post-traumatic pains. As part of combination therapy for inflammatory diseases of the veins, lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes (phlebitis, peripheralitis, lymphangitis, superficial lymphadenitis).
Contraindications
weeping dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Ketoprofen is contraindicated for use in the third trimester of pregnancy. In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the use of ketoprofen is possible in cases where the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
If you need to use Ketoprofen during lactation, breastfeeding is recommended to be discontinued.
Dosing and Administration
Gel is applied 3-4 times a day.
