Pharmacological action of
Gaviscon ® enters the stomach and interacts with its contents, forming a protective barrier (raft), which prevents the occurrence of heartburn. Quickly relieves heartburn. It takes a long time. Suitable for use during pregnancy. Pleasant mint flavor.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of dyspepsia associated with increased acidity of the gastric juice and gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn, sour belching) feeling of heaviness in the stomach after eating, including during pregnancy.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug children under 6 years of age.

Composition
10 ml of suspension contains: active substances: sodium alginate 500 mg, sodium bicarbonate 267 mg, calcium carbonate 160 mg, and excipients: carbomer 65 mg, methyl parahydroxybenzoate 40 mg, propyl parahydroxybenzoate 6 mg, sodium saccharin 10 mg, peppermint oil pepper 1 mg, sodium hydroxide 26.667 mg, purified water to 10 ml.
Dosage and Administration
Inside. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 to 20 ml after meals and at bedtime. The maximum daily dose is 80 ml. Children from 6 to 12 years: 5 to 10 ml after meals and at bedtime. The maximum daily dose is 40 ml. For elderly patients, dose changes are not required.

Overdose
Symptoms: bloating may occur.
