Description
Pharmacological action of
Artroglycan due to an optimally balanced mixture of aminoglycans, minerals and vitamin E helps to improve the condition of the bone-joint system, normalize metabolic processes in the cartilage, restore damaged cartilage matrix. Natural antioxidants vitamin E and selenomethionine, which are part of arthroglycan, are involved in the regulation of lipid peroxidation, improve liver and heart function.
Indications
Assign to dogs, cats, rats and ferrets for degenerative diseases of the joints and spine, primary arthrosis, intervertebral osteochondrosis, osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis, spondylosis, osteoporosis and joint dysplasia.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the drug. Diseases of bone and cartilage, complicated or provoked by an infectious disease.
Composition
One tablet of arthroglycan contains 200 mg of chondroitin sulfate, 100 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride, 50 μg of selenomethionine, 20 mg of vitamin E, 100 mg of calcium gluconate.
Dosage and administration
Give the animals inside with food in the following doses: dogs weighing less than 40 kg and cats – 1 tablet for every 10 kg of animal weight 2 times a day, dogs weighing more than 40 kg – 4 tablets per animal 2 once a day, regardless of the weight of the dog, rats and ferrets – by tablets per animal 2 times a day. The course of treatment is prescribed by the attending veterinarian. The minimum course of treatment is 3 to 4 weeks. The use of arthroglycan is recommended in the autumn-spring period, as well as when exposed to adverse factors of content and feeding.
Side effects
In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible.
