Indications
Bravecto is prescribed for dogs for the treatment and prevention of aphanipterosis, in the treatment of flea-caused allergic dermatitis, as well as acarosis caused by ticks.
Contraindications
Contraindication to use is individual intolerance to the components of the drug. The drug should not be used for puppies younger than 8 weeks of age and / or dogs weighing less than 2 kg. Bravecto is not intended for use by productive animals.
Composition
Active ingredient, in 1 tablet Fluralaner: 250.0 mg for dogs weighing> 4.5 – 10 kg
Dosage and administration
Bravecto is administered to dogs individually orally during or shortly before / after feeding at a therapeutic dose of 25-56 mg of fluralaner per 1 kg of animal weight. Bravecto has an attractive aroma and taste and, as a rule, is readily eaten by dogs otherwise, the drug is forcibly injected directly into the mouth or fed with food. Breaking tablets is not allowed. You should make sure that the dog has completely swallowed the required dose of the drug. When using the drug for dogs weighing more than 56 kg, a combination of tablets is used at the rate of 25-56 mg of fluralaner per 1 kg of animal weight. It is allowed to use the drug during lactation and lactation. Repeated treatments, if necessary, are carried out after 12 weeks. Violations of the regimen of the drug should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in its effectiveness. If the next treatment is skipped, the use of the drug is resumed in the same dose according to the same scheme. Symptoms of an overdose have not been identified.
Side effects
Side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions, as a rule, are not observed. In rare cases, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and salivation are possible. If the dog has vomited within the first two hours after taking Bravecto, it is recommended to make sure that the vomiting has stopped and give the drug again in the same dose.
