Description
Pharmacological action of
Toltuzuril blocks respiratory enzymes and has a damaging effect on mitochondria and nuclear fission processes of coccidia, disrupting the formation of macrogametocytes, causing death of the parasite.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use the drug in dairy cows, due to its allocation with milk.
Special instructions
Slaughter of piglets for meat is allowed no earlier than 91 days later, calves, kids, lambs and rabbits no earlier than 70 days after the use of Eimeterm suspension 5%. Meat of animals forced to kill previously established deadlines can be used to feed fur animals.
Composition
Contains toltrazuril – 50 mg and excipients in 1 ml as active substance.
Dosing and Administration
Before use, the suspension in the vial should be shaken thoroughly until the sediment is completely distributed.
Eimeterm suspension 5% is applied orally to the root of the tongue using a syringe dispenser or an automatic dispenser, which is screwed onto a bottle of the appropriate volume immediately before use. The volume of the drug with a single press on the plunger of an automatic dispenser is 1 ml.

In severe cases of the disease, treatment of animals repeat after 5 days.
In order to prevent re-infection of animals, sanitary and hygienic measures must be taken at their places of detention.
In coccidiosis-poor households, in order to achieve the maximum prophylactic effect and reduce the number of oocysts secreted into the environment, the drug should be prescribed to animals until the first clinical signs of the disease appear. The drug does not eliminate the clinical symptoms of coccidiosis, in this regard, with severe clinical signs of the disease, the animal is additionally prescribed symptomatic and pathogenetic therapy.
Side effects
When used in accordance with the instructions are not observed. With increased individual sensitivity to the drug, allergic reactions may occur, in this case, antihistamines and symptomatic agents are prescribed to the animal.
Storage conditions
