Description

Description

The insect growth regulators fipronil and diflubenzuron, which are part of the collar, have a pronounced activity against larval and sexually mature phases of the development of fleas, lice, gnats, and ixodid ticks that parasitize dogs and cats. Standing out from the surface of the collar, the active components are transferred to the skin and hair of the animal. Fipronil, not being absorbed into the systemic circulation, accumulates in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the animal’s skin, and secreting on the surface of the skin together with the secretion of the glands has a long contact and intestinal insect acaricidal effect. The insect growth regulator inhibits the growth of integumentary tissues in parasites, disrupting the development of the larva in the egg, molting of the larvae, interferes with the development of full-fledged pupae and causes the death of insects and ticks in the preimaginal phases of development.
