Pharmacological action
Antiseptic.
Active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, lipophilic viruses (e.g. Herpes simplex virus and hepatitis B virus), as well as against yeast-like fungi and dermatophytes.
Indications
– treatment of the skin and mucous membranes before diagnostic and surgical measures in pediatric, surgical and obstetric-gynecological practice, in traumatology, proctology, dermatovenerology, otolaryngology, dentistry
– treatment of wound and burn wounds of the foot and burns of mycosis srd .
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Composition

Dosage and Administration
Topically, topically.
Processing is performed alternately with two tampons, abundantly moistened with Octenisept. The affected surface must be completely treated. The drug can be applied to easily accessible areas by spraying. Exposure time – at least 1-2 minutes.
Dressings are applied after complete drying of Octenisept (ie, after 1-2 minutes). Before using the drug, the tissue sections to be treated must be cleaned of pus or other biosubstrates.
To rinse the oral cavity using 20 ml of the drug, repeated rinsing is recommended after 20 seconds.
To prevent fungal diseases, the skin between the toes and feet is treated with the drug 2 times a day (morning and evening). The term of treatment is up to 14 days.
Side effects
Short-term burning sensation at the place of use is possible. When rinsing the mouth, a bitter aftertaste is possible.
Drug Interactions
Do not use with iodine-containing antiseptics.
