Description

Pharmacological action

Gamavit contains a complex of biologically active substances, thanks to which it optimizes metabolic processes in the body (in particular, protein, vitamin and mineral), normalizes the blood formula, increases the bactericidal activity of blood serum, has an immunomodulating and general biotonizing effect. It is a biogenic stimulant and adaptogen, reduces postnatal mortality, increases the viability of the offspring, increases the performance of muscles and the resistance of animals to increased loads and stress. It is a source of metabolic substrates, contributes to increased growth.

Indications

The drug is used for the prevention and treatment of various diseases as a biotonic agent: for anemia, hypovitaminosis, for infectious and invasive diseases, pyometer, for poisoning, in the postoperative period, with toxicosis of pregnancy, childbirth, in the preparation of animals for exhibitions, competitions and transportation.

Composition

Gamavit is a complex preparation, the main active ingredients of which are denatured emulsified placenta (PDE) and sodium nucleinate.

Dosage and administration

The drug is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously, it is possible to drink.

In order to prevent gamavit, 0.1 ml / kg of animal body weight is administered (prophylactic dose).

With a therapeutic purpose – 0.3-0.5 ml / kg (therapeutic dose).

In order to prevent: anemia, hypovitaminosis, weakened, old animals, in the recovery period after diseases and operations, the drug is prescribed intramuscularly 1-3 times a week. The duration of the course is on average 2-4 weeks or more. With increased loads, to enhance the resistance of animals to technological stresses, the drug is administered before stress exposure once or in a course of 8, 6, 4 days before and immediately before exposure to stress factors.

To increase fertility, Gamavit should be administered at a dose of 0.025-0.05 ml / kg per day of fertilization, to facilitate delivery and the prevention of postpartum complications – in the same dose 1 week before birth and during childbirth.

To prevent early mortality, malnutrition, to increase resistance to disease and weight gain, the drug is administered to newborns at 1, 3 and 5 or 7 days of life at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg.

For therapeutic purposes: in the treatment of infectious and invasive diseases (including pyroplasmosis), the drug is administered as part of a complex of standard therapy 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days. In case of poisoning, gamavit is administered subcutaneously, intravenously or drip 1 time in a 3-5-fold therapeutic dose as part of a complex of standard therapy. In case of feeding disorders, growth retardation and intoxication, Gamavit is administered 1 time per day for 5-7 days.

When deworming, Gamavit is used in conjunction with anthelmintic agents. The drug is administered intramuscularly on the day of deworming and again every other day. In the treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases, Gamavit is used as part of a complex of standard therapy once a day for 5-7 days, with pathological births – once in a double therapeutic dose. Gamavit goes well with other pharmacological agents. The combination with Fosprenil enhances the effect of the drug.

Expiration
